i sold my laptop and used the money and got a ipod touch 2 hrs ago cool little toy upgraded it to 3.0 and jailbroke it now it is wide op.. if there are any other people wjo have been using a oped one like me can ya post some cool apps or some other hacks that work well let me know got the bluetooth working with my head set need some more hints .. thanks

oh man, this brings back some memories of repairing iPods. never got into the software side of it, though...sounds cool. what software did you use to open the source?

well the firmware was 2.21 and when i went ot update it the wanted 10 bucks i was what to get the other features open 10 bucks so i started googlin and found how to update it to 3.0 so i loaded it and it worked great open the bluetooth up on it .. then i saw jailbreaking i heard of it and igureed it would be like the others small little features but WOW tons of software for free .. so i used the sofware they had on my raidfind site and boom easy as pie opened up .. software is called redsn0w it takes you step by step .. and then add some sources via the web and boom now you can add programs for free .and there is approx 5000 apps for both together the iphone and the touch .. i already have 3 pages of apps already and the update lets me use my bt headset with it ..
