How to Jalbreak iTouch. Everything You Need! - ABA DSS

Here are the files and directions for jailbreaking an iTouch.

1. Download Redsn0w 0.8

2. Download iPod Touch OS 3.0 from below link

3. Extract Redsn0w 0.7 zip files in folder name it as redsn0w

4. Connect your iPod Touch to computer and start iTunes 8.2

5. Hold down shift (For windows)/ Option (For Mac) and click the Restore button and brose iPod Touch OS 3.0 firmware in step 2

6. After iTunes completes restoring OS 3.0 firmware, close iTunes and launch Redsn0w 0.7 from redsn0w folder

7. Click on browse button and locate iPoD Touch Firmware 3.0 ipsw file

8. Click on Next to continue

9. Check install Cydia option

10. Carefully follow Screen instructions to complete jailbreaking & unlocking process.

You must complete the next step to be able to sync Apps with iTunes.

Look for the Cydia icon.

Click Cydia. Once Cydia is open, add the source “cydia.hackulo****” After you have added the source search for "AppSync". Install this.

YOUR iTOUCH IS NOW FULLY JAILBROKEN.

Next are some helpful apps you can get from Cydia.

Search for "Categories." This will allow you to put your icons in folders, allowing you to install unlimited apps.

Search for "Five Icon Dock" This will allow you to drag a fifth icon to the bottom of your screen. (Touch and hold until they wiggle., then drag one to the bottom. Click home button to exit).

Next, search for "SBSettings" This app will allow you to add common apps to a toggle that only appears when you drag your finger across the top of the screen.
