ABA is the best, but........ - ABA DSS

All of us here know ABA is the best site for ALL FTA questions, answers, games etc, and it keeps us coming back for more, It's home !.......but how many other FTA sites to you frequently visit in a day, week, etc. I am not asking for names or anything, just wondering. I currently have 8 sites I visit......and none of them get me what I get here, thanks to ALL that make this, what it is.

When I was just starting out in this hobby I used to visit 8 or 10 sites, but it didn't take long to make this site my only site. Why waste my time with the other sites when this one has all I need or want, plus a great group of friends?

Only one thing bugs me, is all the huge ugly graphics to the left. Not only ugly but causes alot more scrolling, so you won't see me spending the credits.

I am a paying member of a much smaller pond spawned from this site, but I find myself "galavanting around the Universe"(Capt. Kirk) for action. I find this site interestingly dynamic and tend to drop by more often for its membership inquisitions.

techi2, I agree with you on the questionable value of the oversized left-side graphics, which are aquired through purchases using credits earned from activities at this site. This process provides absolutely NO incentives for me, and I remain free to act as I wish anytime I want to.

I visit one other forum when things get heated up.,or when I can't get aba to load.,.,aba is far superior to any fta site.,.,.,just sometimes I can't get it to load up.

It's not only the size of these graphics but where I live we are still in the dark ages...I only have access to dial up and it takes forever for these large graphic post to load. I guess you take what you can get...great site...can't wait to start downloading stand alone files again......Waggs

this is my main site...i'm a non-paid member of several others, but i've found that often other sites are first to have files. but i only trust files from this site. plus, the people here are great, thanks to a special mother "fairy"

I used to keep up daily at work. That where I did my best research here at abadss. But frickin IT put a block claiming that there was some kind of spyware here..I don't know but I can log on during work so I signed up to another site but they are a bunch of ..not nice. Anyway I look around for differant site but always come bacl home to Aba.

Put Firefox portable on a thumbdrive and you can get around this issue.

I myself found this place a year and a bit ago and found it to be the friendless site out there and decided to stay.

I popped my FTA cherry at another site. Due to some technical difficulties they had to shut down for a brief period. That's when i found ABA, and this has been home eversince.
mods at the other forum seemed irritated by helping the newb, but really didn't allow other users to do the work for them. only 10 real members seen there and they are the mods... the rest are just peons, bugging them with questions....
ABA is a friendly place. I do more helping than asking, but that's my way of paying back the community(since i'm not a paid member)
I only venture back to the other forum once every couple months to see if anything has changed, but..... never does
ABA is my 1 and only home for FTA.
