I thought this might be helpful to members who want information about the advertisers and site sponsors here at ABADSS, prior to making purchases and what to expect if something is not to your agreed satisfaction.

I'm requesting a RMA# for cash refund as the product did not perform as expected and had mechanical difficulties from the day of delivery 8/8/09.
You should not be charging 20% restocking fee for a product that may be defective. I don't want to tie up my money with waiting for a new receiver from your company I just want you to give a full refund as stated in your policy. I am member of ABADSS where you're listed as a sight sponsor, so I expect your full cooperation in resolving this issue to the customers
satisfaction in a very timely matter. This purchase was also made through PayPal who also has a customer resolution center. I will be posting the on
going results of this issue on our website (ABADSS) to let the membership know that a site sponsor/advertiser are taking care of customers generated by Advertisement at our site "ABADSS".

chill dawg – thank you for sending your receiver back. I can confirm that there is something not correct with the firmware on this receiver. I have to say that in all of the receivers that we have sold, we have never had one come back with this anomaly. I will be interested in seeing what the manufacture says on this one. If you wish, I can let you know what they tell me.
At any rate, we will provide a refund less the upgraded shipping. The 20% restocking fee does not apply as we were informed within the 15 day grace period as per our ‘Shipping & Returns’ Policy.
I’ve authorized our finance department to send you an immediate refund. You can expect the funds within the next 24 hours.
By the way, if you have the time – would you please send the RCA cables back as they were not in the box when we received it. Thanks in advance.

I didn't like the part about the upgraded shipping cost not being refunded as the product was proven defective. I have not spoken with them since I received this e-mail but don't see a problem with that portion being refunded either after next phone call to nfusiondtv.com. I did let them know I would post this on the site and make sure they had the opportunity to respond.

Seems like you were handled perfectly. I've never heard of shipping being refunded on any item ordered over the Internet. The seller always incurs a shipping cost that can't be replaced, hence never refunded.
Glad you got your money back in a timely fashion.

Like CG said, I'd be most curious to know the outcome of the Firmware issue.
