Been asked 100 times now 101
well I have had 20 min or so to think about it since last post and I think I'm leaving Las Sonicview. Which of the other options out there right now are having the most up time and channel selection. I hate to go back to nfusion because of the nova I don't trust them not to just pull support but if that is the best option so be it.
What is actually usable out the right now and what is the best of them.
Thanks to all the people in Sonic town but you are about to lose a good customer.
thanks gut and gals.

I believe there are 4 makers out there that have something working and you just eliminated the top 2.

nFusion Phoenix (SD) unit is solid as is the nFusion HD unit (although a lot more $$$).

Re: Been asked 100 times now 101
I may have to go nfusion. I probably will. I feel really burnt when they screwed over the people that really made them what they are with the nova but seems I got it a lot worse with the SV.

Re: Been asked 100 times now 101
I feel for you and other Nova owners. But, since the Nova was cloned, there was no option other than to discontinue support. I tried my very best to provide an alternate solution but NFusion would have nothing of the kind.
That said, the most experienced bunch in the IKS field are NFusion and let me tell you that I have been with NFusion from the Ist. day it was out in the Market and now have two HD units. I have the best support for the work they have done so far.
My options would be the Phoenix or the HD.

yes i feel the same way with the way the nova was handled .i consider myself one of the lucky ones and had my nova from the beginning and i didnt miss much with that reciever. i still have nova and i now have a pheonix that i got a couple of weeks ago and i also have the HD that i have had for about 10 months now.i am very pleased with up time on the nf and like the easy setup of all 3 units.

Re: Been asked 100 times now 101
how long did you have your nova......the way I look at it is, I totally understand people being upset about the whole nova not being supported anymore but most of us had our novas for many many months. And if you paid $100.00/mo for service the nova would have paid for its in 2 or three months and less if you watched PPV. Anything beyond that was money in your pocket and that was the whole point. Nothing lasts forever and I too had a nova and without hesitation purchased a Phoenix and a HD unit. Nfusion would still be a great choice, and by the way, I no seller, just a happy customer. This is not a lecture, but a friend saying sometimes $hit happens. And Im sure many share my love for nfusion units too..........Its beautiful day to watch some TV

Re: Been asked 100 times now 101
My two cents , I too had a nova for a long time , loved it.Was not the easiest to set up but very managable to keep running and very little downtime. That said the nfusion nova would heat up and was a cheap made box.It did eventually burn out a power supply.Nfusion did leave a lot to be desired in the way they handled the whole nova deal for sure.Nfusion also has demonstrated that they will never try and develop a stand alone solution. That may never be possible anyway on the N3 situation , who knows.
I went with kbox prodidigy and to this date I have no regrets , it has a great blind scan and does not heat up.So far the nfusion has shown to have the V.O.D. channels up and the kbox was the only one to carry the UFC PPV.So to me you have two choices as my feelings is SV has totally lost any creditbility they had as an option.Of course this is today and no one knows what is in store. Also I have not had any dealings with the CNX or dreambox. The best advice is read all you can and make a fact based decision for yourself.Right now I will probably buy a nfusion pheonix next , not because I dislike anything about the kbox but it is always better to have more than one option.
