Do you belive in the after life

This is been talk about over and over. I am not saying the storys in the Bible did not happen and yes there were NO CNN or Fox and friends to report this storys, but there were other people who wrote other books at that time and wrote same of this storys a little different and like every thing there are different sides to a story.
I am careful on people that want to take control just look at history (Jame Jone) back in the 70s and David in Waco Tx 90s. There is a person today that says he is Jesus today. He is from the Jesus family some how.
All I am saying is thank God we life in America where we are Free and if you want to follow other people please feel free to do so. I like to read and come with my concluctions and do what I like.

Hey, did'nt mean to make it personal. Being an open forum there are more people here than just you and I. My comments as I am sure yours also, are ment for everyone. It does not matter if you do not believe, and that I do believe. We Are individuals, and that is what makes this place interesting. If it comforts one to think there is more than just this place, so be it. If you believe this is the only stop, that's OK too. Since we are all here together though, wouldn't it be alot better to share and grow. Everyones opinions are valid mine, yours, everyone. Sure our differences have caused alot of stife here but, to me that has nothing to do with religion or politics or whatever. It has to do with the fact that were are all a bunch of babies, whinning and complaining because we do not get our own way. So, believe, don't believe, who cares!!! Be a good person and help others around when needed. Make it count, wether there is more or not. Again, just my 2 cents.

Personally just my own opinion, I have lived I have suffered, not to be judged or compared to others, I have seen disasters, and numerous deaths, many wrongs done all over the place. I have struggled myself to gain in this world just to be knocked down pushed into the mud by others who only want to take what I have or destroy my chances of success. But I stand another day to struggle, food for this week, heat for this year, fun is unknow. Yet I push on, why? what else can I do its human instinct to survive to live. I have an inoperable brain tumor which causes me much grief everyday for the last 12yrs. I live in back pain each and everyday. 4yrs ago I get cancer and struggle for 14months while driving myself to and from radiation treatments for 3months after 2 surgeries. The technology from the living was what saved my life. Your god didn't do anything for me, but you will say this is why I am still here. I now know in my mind what I believe, and that is I am not afraid to die and go where each one before me went, nothing and no one is gonna make it any easier no matter what you want to believe. So you think you will be on silk while I lay on a garbage bag with fire roaring around me, well happy thoughts for ya than. Its not worth the discussion its just for the weak, truth is we will all die even You

This one has lasted longer than I thought. Nice going guys. Keeping it civil and all.
Planning is always great. Praying for a great plan, well, I think not, action not prayer will get you there. Prayer may make you feel good, and that's OK, I really don't know how it might help someone else. I guess you could say Hope is like Prayer.
And as long as tomorrow comes, I hope I'm there to see it, for at least another 30yrs.
On the other hand it's real hard to debate with someone who was brought up in the Church when you(general) weren't and viseversa.

My sentiments exactly. If every religion has its own God, then there is no ONE god, hence the Bible only speaks to a certain populace, as the Kuran does to another, as the New Testatment, as does the Talmud, as does the the Old Testament, as does the Veda, and so and so on......

No. There are more important things to worry about then that. I am not a religious person, and i do not hate on those who find peace and comfort thru religion. I was brought up differently, and religion and God were not present... We followed and still follow a different path.

This is great I know that all us here are different and that is good, but we all get along with each other and I enjoy hearing what you have to say.
