Good morning ABA Family!!

Is it just me or did this week slip quickly by us??? It's Thursday!! No word yet on Poker for tonight. As soon as we know something we'll post it.

Happy birthday or ABA anniversary to those members that are celebrating their special day today!

Weather cooled down 20 degrees and got very windy (cold wind)....now they are saying it may rain today or Friday....but we can't complain here, we've had more than our share of great weather!! It's time to get the fire started.

Just three weeks from today is TURKEY DAY here in the US!! I need to start planning the dinner now. For most, it will be a four day work week next week, with Remembrance Day in Canada and Veteran's Day in the US.

My thoughts and prayers go out to all of our of members and especially the following; the Penasse Family, the BigEvil Family, Mcdoogle, Moe, Zeke, Gooly, Tomcat, Tiger, Lakers, Meme, LuckyLady, RedWheez, Fossil, Victor Hugo's wife, Olga, Ricknsusan, Acredream's Family, Johnnybluedawg, Redlich51, Snakebite, bat01, VGiddy, dt8350, chefkrh and Eclipsemoon. Be sure to keep them in your thoughts for better days to come, thank you.

Our thanks and prayers go out to our Troops, both home and abroad, and their families!! Hope you are all reunited as soon as possible!!

Yankees took the crown from the Phillies in Game 6 of the World Series last night!! Congratulations to the N.Y. Yankees.

Lottery news: No winner again last night. Looks like Johnnybluedawg and Jamal are going back and forth for the high score in the game "Bookworm" in the Arcade!! Check out all the fun games in there when you get a chance.

Yes Peggy, this week sure seems to have just flown by!!
Not much going on today, the only thing I need to do is get out some butter containers and fill them up with YUMMY boiled peanuts and freeze them... and of course sample some more... to make sure they didn't go bad overnight
