I have a viewsat ultra & I have a problem with my channel list. For instance when I select my guide it shows double or triple entries for each channel. It will give me information on the movie or show, but the second listing doesn't. Also, the other channels i can view in the 8000 & so on don't show any information for that particular channel.

Can someone give me some info or help.

delete all channels and auto scan it

Is there an option to delete all channels in the menu option on my viewsat ultra ? Also how do i get all the channels to have information on the guide view ? rite now it doesn't list any information.

Do factory reset, resetup your dish setting and rescan it

hey grasshopper, unfortunately the procedure you told me to do on my Viewsat Ultra didn't change my information guide or did it fix the repeated issue of three channel #'s per channel.

is this a normal thing or is my setup screwed up ?

Captive works owners,if auto transponder finder does not find desired sport channel,count to five when scramble appears,click menu and wait for sound,exit. Auto tp cannot find channels if the channel is shifted to another sat,scan would be necessary.
