DISH 500 WITH QUAD LNB DOES NOT PICKUP 110 WHEN CONNECT TO THE DiscE SWITCH.

I have a dish 500 with quad LNB and connect to the Disec switch with another Dish then I will not be able to access to the 110 DN channels,it only works with the 119 DN channels(even though it has good signals.all it keeps saying is scramble) it used to work by it self before without connect it to the Disec switch, so I need the expert to explain to me and show me how to get the LNB to work when connect it to the Disc switch .

Try changing the port you have it on and see if it makes a diffrence before moving wires TURN POWER OFF let us know how that works!

take the switch off and in antenna setting setup as ocs-dp lnb start off as setting port 1 then slowly move on .. dp lnb's have a built inswitch

but I want to have it hook up to the switch with the other Satellite dish so I can watch the international channel from a nother dish from the same receiver.

read the above post. what he is saying is that the 500 has a switch built in and you cant put a switch behind another switch. i think you will need another device beside the diseqc switch. you have quad LNBs, you should be able to get 4 sats.

that is right if you have a dp34 then you can do what you want otherwise a 4x1 will not work

DishPro external switches, there are 2 now, a DP34 and a DPP44, both of these use true Diseqc pulses so will work with FTA receivers but you must use DP LNBs to take advantage of the multiple receiver aspect of this switch.
(The DPPlus LNB does NOT work with FTA receivers, it does not use true DiSEqC)
If you hook up a standard(non-DP) LNB to a DP switch and more than one receiver you can only get 1 polarity at a time from that LNB . If you just have 1 receiver hooked up to it, it has been reported to work fine. I have not tested this.

it works with both 110 and 119 when I conected the LNB to the input satellie splitter and out put with 2 coax cables before connecting to the 4X1 Disegc (but the 110 only work with the port 2 or 4 and 119 with port 1 or 3)

It works with the 2 way satellite splitter but on the out put with out the passive power some of the tp frequencies have low quality signal,so I wonder if I connect another plitter in between to the out put without the passive power to the passive power then I will have agood stable signal or not?
