Darryl, I am the only coonass(cajun) that was watching hockey 30+ years ago. In fact that's what got me in to C-Band Satellite, I had to have my hockey. My son is a hockey official(ref and linesman) cause I pushed hockey on him. He is 1 level from NHL officiating and will test next year for that. He does college games and tournaments around the USA and does lineman for ECHL. I have watched the Red Wings since the get-go and Steve Yzerman was my idol. Our city had a semi-pro team and I did all of their injuries and fitness/strength training. My son sees the pros all the time and I get autograghed stuff all the time, including Dom Hasek's jersey.
So I am a devoted Wings and Sabres fan.
