Local Chhannel Viewsat Ultra
hi i have viewsat ultra and somehow i can't get local channel. i had coolsat 5K be4 and was able to get all local channel i allreadt setup for local channel from manu. also i was setting up antenna and i wasn't getting 110 sungle. my setting r ocs-dp, 11250,off,12224 and disq is port 1 and port 2 but i can't get 110 setellite.

No problem w/ your setting. Remember that the 110 is in port 2, tp 12224 and for 119 port 1 and tp 12239  . Did you use the auto scan to scan channels?

also go into menu, user setting, system settings, local channel -on, and then scroll down to local channel region, pick what region you are in or close to and bingo..
you should now have your locals
give it a try and let us know how it worked out for you,

it does work..I'm close to Seattle and I have it as my local
I punched in the number 4 on my remote and the locals came up..
Start at number 1 then, if number 1 does not work keep going up in numbers ,PUT IN NUMBER 2, THEN TRY 3 ..ETC..
It does work..

i tried that i only have channel 101,102,103 etc i tried pressing 3,4,6 etc nothing coming up on screen than i go to guide is not their i allready sorted too.

well it works here. I think it only works for the nearest city that is closest to you and it has to be your picked local..sorry bud..
