i currently test coolsat 5k 6k and there pretty easy to set up and very cheap they have good support and great warranty. the cs6100 is supposed to be pretty good but have not tested it yet. Coolsat also has other models like pvr's and hd but it all depends on what your looking to do

I'm currently testing VS Ultra 2000. Lot of support, user friendly and problem-free (so far) ;-)

Re: what receiver to buy
Nevermind coolsat and viewsat. Captive Works has one of the best support teams around, very quick. But i think for the money buy yourself a Conaxsat Mini, looks great and is very easy to maintain and update. All you need is a USB memory stick. They are also one of the first to send out fixes.

Coolsat 6100 or 7000 PVR, Sonicview 4000, Viewsat Ultra, CW 800S, IV 200 PVR. Those are my favorite one:

Re: what receiver to buy

I'M trying to decide if it's a good idea to buy 2 Captiveworks Cw 800 PVR's !!
How is the forum support and ease of use, etc?
Any better ideas?
