Bev piss of own customers
expressvu down?
I have expressvu vdsl for condos. The image has been going on and off all day, half the channels not working (only a black screen)... I called expressvu's 800 number and after being on hold on for 30 minutes, a recorded message said: "Due to an emergency situation in our premises, we are unable to connect your call at this time. Please call us back at a later time"....and then I got hung up on. Does anyone know what is happening?

Seems that Bev is acting real snotty, a lot of paying customers are having issues. i was told along with a few others i have talked to that we need new receivers. and must buy them of them.

I love it, BEV is shooting themselves in the foot with this. I bet there is a lineup at the Rogers/Shaw outlets with people trading in their BEV subs.

they are spending money to put out ecm's.now hurting their customers also and not providing customer service if this is the case.thats going to hurt them bad.all for what?
in hopes to slow down satellite piracy,oops.that wont work out to well for them.
imagine the $ they are loosing every hour they keep this up.i wouldn't even want to know how much $$$cabbage$$$ is being lost if in fact this is whats going on.

Ma Bell always seems to think that they're the only fish in the sea....I base that on the fact that my Land Line is Bell, and they're just as nasty, even nastier in my opinion, but it seems the Tiger can't change it's stripes. I went through a 3 month battle with their DSL crap, and that was no picnic, but again, this big fish doesn't seem to care who they get mad, especially us small-potato subs. Hope all goes with with the paying customers.

Yeah...I have Bell for my sub and I tell you...they are pissing me off...I have 2 receivers and one is the real expensive HD PVR...both receivers keep kicking in and out...I have called many times and get no where with their rude and ignorant customer care agents...so my buddy gave me the link to the CRTC website...I have filed a complaint with the CRTC...so I will see what happens...I pay around 83.00 for my sub and it's not working properly...that really pisses me off...I am very close to getting rid of my Bell receivers and switch to Shaw digital cable...I will say that these ECM's will be done soon...maybe Bev will run out money...we will have TV soon!

Sounds like B3V!! a year ago I got in it will bev. They kept shutting down my second reciever.I would call for several hours only to finally get through to their customer service (service my ***!) and be told that there systems are down and I could take a few hours before they could reboot it. When I questioned them on why my reciever was down they shifted the blame to me saying that it was my fault because I have not used the reciever in a while and they will help me out this time. I asked why I have to pay for a reciever that they had shut off and they told me I was lucky I was not being charged a reconnection free. I told them where they could go and ripped the reciever out of the wall, dragged it by the cord to the back yard and through it in the "CREEK OF BROKEN ****". Bev then called me back and informed me that they would give me 1 free movie credit to help me calm down. I told them it would do no good seen as the receiver was in the "CREEK OF BROKEN ****" The "Superviser" Then proceeded to tell me that because it was three days past my billing period, I was going to have to pay an extra month because of their 30 day cancelation policy. I hung up on them and when the final bill came I didn't even open it. I walked it back to the 'CREEK OF BROKEN ****" and through it in. After Bev collections department called me back and I told them where they could go, They informed me they would not take any other actions but I would never be able to be a sub again! I wrote a letter to the Editor of the nine closest "Big City" News papers and expained how B3V ****s on the little People!!! Long live FTA!!

Great post kaysar, maybe next time we have this little problem fixed (and we will) the people at Bev will start looking at how to run there company with the CSR`S that will actually have a fighting chance at helping there customers because if these last series of ECM`S are the cause (of coarse they are ) these poor people trying to help don`t stand a chance in doing there job.
Just a little sympathy for the folks that are stuck trying to take all these calls from a company that sucks !!!

"Beef", you are definatly right! Bev thinks they are so big and powerful that us minions do not matter. ONE MOVIE CREDIT! give me a break! That would have definatly been worth me dawning my SPEEDO and diving in the "creek of broken" sh#t to get my receiver back!!! How is it I get 1 free movie credit and "Home" gets a month.They have no clue what it will take to "calm me down". I live at the end of a major airports runway and I am going to put a banner on my roof this summer that says "F@#K Y*U B#V so everyone flying in and out of or country can see what I think of B3V. You are right however. The real shame is the older people that are honest and are being force to take it up the TAIL PIPE!!!!

Agreed, I have had a Bell land line since 1991, a Bell cell since 1996, you think they might consider that length of business relationship to be a valued one. Apparently not, I enquired back in the spring about a better deal for both services, mainly a deal on long dsitance for the house and they said I had the best that there was as for the cell apparently the deal I had in place since it was so old could not be matched and if I moved in that pkg @ all it would infact go up since I was 'grandfathered' in under the agreeement from 96. I told them to stick it and went with cable net provider phone service, no long distance charges @ all along with no time of day restrictions for long distance calls, moved my cell to a pay as you go, much better deal overall than Bell offered to try to keep me, since May/June I have been Bell free and
