I imagine, not being a paid member, there's no way I can stop incoming msgs from other than mods or helpers?

Shocks me, sometimes, how rude someone can be to a complete stranger.

if you go into your profile. click options then scroll down to private messages and you should see enable messaging. if you do not want it, uncheck it and push save.

Prowler... um... the "comment" I made was very apt... it was to someone that was putting down the site in a very unnecessary way, acting like a child... AND I made the comment publicly, not in a private message...

kaysar, you're right... most on here are so terrifically helpful and patient

and thanks SoDark... appreciate the advice and will look at it now...

Prowler, I listen to a lot of stuff I dont agree with and get my fair share of upset responses! But you got to give it to "PUDDY", not to may people thank you after you call them on it. It sounds like he is sincere to me.

Puddy, there will alway be responses to your posts, good or bad. Either they are posted on an open forum or in your PM, it dont matter. I dont think you need to turn off the pm's. Just delete it and go on.

FTA will last for year to come if we all work togather and HELP each other rather than ***** and moan at one another! Keep it freindly rather than making it personal!! Just my 2 cent.

How come come a member that was kicked off this site, is still able to post-at least 29 in the last week? He was insulting members-received an infraction, said he did not want to be on this site and one of the mods said let me help you out the door. I assumed he was kicked out.

THIS DOES HAPPEN ON OCCASION AS THEY JUST ADD A NUMBER OR ALPHABET TO CHANGE UP THEIR LOGIN NAME TO GET ACCESS AGAIN.
THEN WE HIT THEM HARDER. SOMETIMES THEY WILL COME BACK UNDER A NEW NAME AND WHEN WE FIND OUT ITS A PERMANENT BYE ,BYE .

I think you were the guy to kick him out and he is using the same name, because i looked up his posts and found the one where i thought he was kicked out of.
