Why R we still Up? It's Wednesday, Right?

Ok! It is Wednesday (pinching myself to see if I'm dreaming). I'm in the Huricane state and I guess it's like Huricane season. They tell you we're going to get hammered this season, then for the next 2 seasons it hasn't come true. I servived Huricane Charlie in 2005 (no relation to DN Charlie) and like the challange of experiminting with possibilities. That's why I like FTA Testing.<grin>

I still don't understand the story of 2 providers 01 and 06. Is it they (Charlie) is going to mask the 2 together to split services. That raises the question of will my box be able to decode the 2 providers at the same time.

Lots of questions that keep me wondering. It's like the game of Chess. Are we looking at his next possible move so we know are best solution will be?

Guess if I could answer some of these questions I would only need to play the Lottery once eh? I'll stick with my VSE for now. Just wonder what the the next engineering box will be like.

Funny you posted this bud, i was thinking the same thing. Every Wed for the past few weeks our friends at dn seem to put another partial ECM out but not yet this time.

Well i won`t look a gift horse at stage of the game in the mouth, i think i`ll just enjoy while they take a LITTLE break.

Hopefully more than a little break though.

Re: Why R we still Up? It's Wednesday, Right?

its obvious that bev is the test bed for the ecm and the responses from the coders. from what i have read im sure that they are dealing with their issues related to the changes themselfs. im sure dn is a bit more conservative and does not want to rain on anyones xmas parade unless it wont affect their customers. ppl are on vacation, buying things, not a good time to trash their tv and have them wait 2 hours on hold for support. to me this will never end as they must get pressure from premium stations to run interference. i would guess that their next frontier is HD as they can introduce 2007 hardware with a whole new programming playground to play in but to replace millions of legacy receivers does not seem like a good idea to me. just my 2 cents (wife watching some xmas movie, im bored)
