As a software engineer, I can guess that some ecm's could be quite costly. Most likely, there is a team of software engineers to design the attacks, a team of developers to code them and a team of testers to test the out come on their equipment and ours. I don't think the recent weekly attacks are separate events because the time table is too short for the development cycle. From what I have read about the recent B3V ecm, I would guess that the cost of support, loss of service, loss of customers and loss of peer confidence, would greatly increase the over all cost and over shadow any development cost. So, yes quite expensive, in my opinion.

I made it up. There is no way to pinpoint the exact cost. The cost far exceeds the cost of the initial program. The latest ECM has affected the sub base, so how do you put a cost on that and potential sub loss?

Even if B3V knew how much it cost, they would never say. I'll bet they do a lot of internal cover ups so the investors and stock holders don't find out.

Or you could subscribe to the other Cdn. provider and cancel B*V .
Maybe that would smarten them up (Mother B**l), but I don't think so,
that what you call supreme arrogance.
