8spk Module for DN
Hey guys,
Is it true that in order to watch HD channels on DN satellites, I need the 8spk module, whereas for BEV I don't ??? Also, is there a way to find out if my VS 9000HD comes with this module included or not ???

I am pretty sure you will have to add it. Take a look at this...

Yes, you need the module for DN HD channels. You dont need it for B3V.
If you buy the receiver from an authorized dealer it should go for around $600.
The regular receiver goes for around $400.

...and how do you install this thing??? I don't think I have a hole on the back of my receiver, so the connector can pass through.

and also... could this 8spk module be the reason of me not getting PPV or any HD channels on Echo 8, 10. I've tried everything and can't get any of those.

Yes, without the module you wont be able to view any HD channels from DN (echo8, Echo7, etc)
Its not that hard to install, but if you dont know what you're doing it is best if you take it to an electrician.
