Ok I set up the disk about a year ago and up until the time before last hit I recieved both 7 and 8,10 w/good S & Q. Well from that point on I had terrible trouble getting anything on 7. It would not even show up while do set up. I keeped playing around and got it for a day then the next hit happen 7 gone again. I tried everything and i mean everything. So I figured that about the same time we had several bad storms and just maybe it got moved just enough to loose it. So today for 4 hours I moved and moved and moved and moved some more. Still no 7. So at this point I would love to find somebody that know what they are doing come over and aim it for me...live around savannah ga. Does anyone know anybody. Gotta have my 7

vs7000pvr, dish 500, dishpro lnb's, no switches. Signal 86 Quality 94 (thats on 8,10) was same on 7.

I have tried everything. And I was beginning to think I had a handle on this fta setup. Set 1 up for my father with 2 reciever from scratch. No problems.

It could be your lnb's are going to heck. If you have 110 with good quality and your dish has the correct skew, try swapping the lnb's.

Your LNB types are not the same, is that a typo? I think the problem is that your LNB type is wrong. If using Dish Pro LNB's your LNB setting should end in -DP

I had a sliliar problem and found the disq switch was bad in the port I was using

Try switching ports , reverse them

sugar in one of your posts i think you said you moved the dish around were you able to hit 110 at all? if possible try and get your hands on another stb and try it at your place.
