hello everyone newbie here! with questions?
I'm new to the FTA world. This looks like a great site to get and share information. I have purchased a Coolsat 6100 private about a month ago and was able to get it working for awhile. I was picking up BEV nimiq 1 but now it is down like everyone else. Somewhere I have seen Fix for the CS6100 (Dik 01/23/08 ECM). My question is what is DIK ECM? and am I able to tap in to or receive this? thanks.

Hi what I mean is what does DIK ECM stand for? and is this a different satellite than BEV are you able to pick up stations through DIK ECM?

Dik is also called charlie, dish network, Dik net, they broadcast on Echo 110 and 119. You can load the file for Dish and reaim your dish and watch around 700+ channels. Sometimes the same file is used for both. Right now, they are using different bins...

Electronic Counter Measure is what puts us without. Dik is the American equivalent to bev, another dish pointed at dik will work or 1 with a motor. Odds are your receiver can handle 4000 channels so you can put a whole bunch of different providers on your channel lineup.

its always best to have 119/110/82/91 for less down time.
a large dish with 4 lnbs or 2 dish 500's whatever works.
