how can i make the sv 4000 have the full name of the channels because now is lake this ....glvsn i do not what lake this i want the full name chow up lake this galavision please help im new in the sv4000

In the menu system for the unit, there is a srtting for that I believe.
Make sure also you have the newest file (200P) uploaded.

I just looked and I don't see where you can change it to the full name. Could be wrong, and I can learn something...

factory recetthis what i see please help me the steps i need to do for this please help measap if you can

so can you tell me how can i move channels i see in the sreem were it says move channels but nex to that it says info were is info in the remote please tell me step buy step to move channels and press in the remote

to sort the channels as they would come from the provider (ie:dishnetwork)just use the "sat" button on the remote and sellect "echostar package".this will send you to channel 100 on dishnet.ppv movies start at ch 500 use the guide button and you will soon see how things are layed out.

I know what your talking about. My old viewsat plat. has that option. when you watch local channels it tells you what city its from. It seems sonicview only gives you the call numbers like WLS for example. Maybe when things cool down. we can make a request for the sonicview coders to look into changing that. Right now they have more pressing issues to work on.

oh,well you can do that yourself with channel master for now.
open it up with CM.right click on the channel.
select properties.select the locals tab.now number it whatever you want.

Thanks that's what I figured, but I've never messed with channel master ever. I'm happy with what I have right now. Channel master looks a bit confusing. It's something I always wanted to mess with, but I never took the time to do it yet. Guess you can call me lazy!! LOL

I apologize for my untimely response to your post, but I just read it now. These are the steps you will need to follow:
1- Connect your receiver /STB to the computer the same way you do when you write a new bin.
2- Upload the channel list from your receiver - Click on "Tools" and then click on Read from STB. Set your set top box type to match your receiver model.
3- Under "Options" check "Read as New Channel Master Project"
4- Click Read, when it's completed the receiver will shutdown and restart, save the uploaded channel list.
5- Now every time you flash with a new bin, you can write the saved channel list back to the receiver. once again go to Tools and click on write to STB.
