VS not affected this time , anyone know why. - ABA DSS

Even though this was a 0106 key change the Feb 4 bins for Viewsats were not affected.

I don`t ever memember them changing those keys and not having to wait for a new bin.

Please correct me if thats wrong but if thats true does this mean they have built in something in the latest bins that enables the Viewsats to roll these keys without a bin.

The new ECM was sleeping in the stream for 3 days.... the coders were smart enough to think ahead.

Never give up on viewsat they are the best when it comes to fta. Some people ***** and moun when they are late with a new file, but when it comes to reliabilty viewsat is no. 1 without a doubt. We all like free tv so to my viewsat team good work guys, and keep up the good work. I remember when every box went down in the past and no one had the solution, viewsat came up with a fix. Another thing is if their is anything such as full emu i can prdict vs coders will be on top of it. A lot of boxes out their built there reputation off the hard work of vs coders, and thats why vs will not release a full emu for others to just copy and take full credit. To be honest a lot of boxes have very weak support all they do is wait for other boxes to get a fix and copy their work. I for one know that when viewsat stop supporting their box it will be the end for many other boxes. Hate it or love it, its just the plain truth. So thank you Vs coders you are the best i will never use your box as no door stop.

I was under the impression that even if there was a hit in the stream that coders could not start working on a fix until it was actually implemented.

Of coarse only the coders know that for sure and thats the way it should be.

Either way,if they got a little lucky because the dn ecm was the same as bev or they were able to see it and start working on it because it was in the stream for a couple of days.

The "new" DN MECM has been in the stream since last week. And since it's the same as bev's new ecm, some coders were smart enough to include it in the fix as a precaution. Good move.
