If you want t to keep your sub hooked up use the loop out on the stb to your sub and as long as you only have one turned on the other will work.

You can use that if you have another receiver. From loop out--->another receiver dish in.

Re: loop out
The LOOP OUT connector enables you to feed an analog receiver from your VSX

You can use it for another rec but ONLY ONE will work when the other is turned off. You can hook a cable feed to antenna in and as long as the stb is off it will send the signal out, at least on reg cable I've never tried it with digital.

I run my sub this way but like I said only one rec will work properly at a time. You can try, it shouldn't screw anything up.

Re: loop out
Only thing you can't use both receivers at the same time with the loop out...
