need help on picking on a recevier

Depends what you are looking for .. an extra support, or more up time, or more features , or better technology .. i would prefer for HD stb but its your choice !!

The flow is moving towards the HD technology. Stay with the VS brand and move up to the 9000HD or perhaps the SV8000. Both have a steady support record

If you want a good STB that has a good track record, I like the Pansat 3500. When all goes HD, I think the Pansat 9200 has a lot of bells and whistles. Won't be long before they incorporate HDD for recording programs if they haven't already done so. Good luck in your search.

The Pansat 9200 may not have all the bells and whistles,
But it works just fine for both HD & SD channels.
