what's going on with viewsat
Ive been using viewsat for 2 years.they were the way to go.They were always the first to post a fix.Where are they now.Sonicview has taking there place on top of the game.Mind you the Sonicview 8000 blows the viewsat 9000hd away.Better sound and picture and is cheaper to buy.Anybody know whats going on with viewsat.

Re: what's going on with viewsat
Actually, VS had all their boxes up shortly after it went down. The B3V fix on Sunday was good for DN. My Viewsat was working fine as of this morning.

Re: what's going on with viewsat
You must be talking about another Viewsat, the VS that I know has been up on their game, and just like Gordito said, VS never missed a beat with the latest ECM.
Yeah SV has held their ground with great support but that doesnt take away anything from the VS team.
Oh, and I'll beg to differ on the 8000 vs 9000 comparison. Right at this very moment I am testing my cousin's VS9000 against my brother's SV8000.... trust me, there is no blowing away from either side.

Re: what's going on with viewsat
To use another anaogy;
Does Jeff Gordon win every race??
Do the New England Patriots win every game (just about LOL)
Does the US win every basketball game??
No but it still doesn't take away from how good they are!! Now does it??

Re: what's going on with viewsat
VS and Sonicview are one in the same. 2 different boxes but the same company. When Ecm hit happens, those 2 are side by side with a new fix.

Not exactly the same company, but they are close on their bin releases.

Re: what's going on with viewsat
there has been a lot of times when my sonicview 4000 was down, and I had to go to my trusty viewsat plat! I have no problems with my sonicview support I think it's great, but viewsat is just as good. Maybe you should get another brand, so you have a back up!

Re: what's going on with viewsat
Viewsat n Sonicview both have huge satisfactory ownership base n offer a very diverse range of recievers.
the support has been very prompt and reliably stable for an extended period of time..
On a give occassion there may be diffrent time lines to release a file fix BUT neverthless a great support..how about the LAST(Feb 4th)VIEWSAT BUILT IN file fix for both providers even before the ecm hit from one providers...
As SV evolves the VS is long inspiring n reliable as evident from various posts and volume of dl n huge ownership volume...
In this free enterprise market place - it's ur CALL...ur comfort zone folks....enjoy the show n stay rt here with ABADss 4 all ur updates n resources ...ppl helpin ppl...24/7...

Re: what's going on with viewsat
if memory serves me correct, viewsat only had problems around xmas time as the main coder had family issues. i was very impressed how fast they came out with the last fix.
first one out i believe. not sure if all boxes went down or not but they are still on top of their game.
