Re: Having Problems with your orders from FTAPros

Hi first post here, and i am sorry to start out this way.

Bought a receiver and analog sat finder on the 26th of march, I can't say i am too thrilled, it is a real shame it came down to this.

Detailed Results:

Processed, March 31, 2008, 7:50 pm, LOS ANGELES, CA 90052
Electronic Shipping Info Received, March 27, 2008

That is a 4-5 day average just to ship the package and not exactly what it was advertised, i might have considered doing business elsewhere had i known that. I ordered the items on Wed and it did not ship until the following monday???

Re: Having Problems with your orders from FTAPros

Myself and my friends have ordered many units from the site sponsor FTAPros and I recently ordered/paid for a CW-800 on 3/28. It is 4/21 and I have not received anything - other than the order number and that PayPal paid them.

I have read some posts that they were slow and my experience before this is they have been very fast and always got my order within 3-5 days. Well, I have left 12 messages, emailed them via the site, and no answer. I even saw that Moderator CreativeGenius posted a phone number for a

Mike Cho at (916) 275-5834

Post where number was:
Technical & Registration problems - ABA DSS - Free to Air Satellite TV Community

I have left numerous messages and called all numbers on their site and no response or the voice mail is full.

Is there anybody on our moderator team that can help me a response from them. I have been totally patient and waited 10+ business days before I started calling and emailing them.

If this site sponsor's them - what gives are they in business or am I just an isolated case - not based on what I seen/read.

Looking for help!

My order number is:
Invoice No.: 12847 Order No.: 51437980 Date: 03/28/2008

Re: Having Problems with your orders from FTAPros

Before ordering from any company online with which I haven't done business before, I always email them or call them. If they don't respond I don't order, period. Despite glowing reports from some members here, FTApros never responded to any of my repeated inquiries, either by phone or email. I assumed that they either 1) were not interested in selling me anything 2) were incredibly busy so they did not need my business anyway 3) were not a reliable business OR 4) they were getting out of the business & wanted to collect a few extra dollars of pure profit without having to go through the expense of shipping out any product. So which of these 4 choices is it?

I noticed that the add at the top of the page has been changed to another vendor, though ftapro's is right below this post under 'cool deals'.

Wink Re: Having Problems with your orders from FTAPros

Just wanted to let everyone know that I received a 2 emails from FTAPros:

A package was shipped to you on 04/23/2008 via U.S. Postal Service Priority Mail, Flat Rate BOX to the following address:

xxxxxx xxxxxxx
xxxxx xxxxx xxx xxx
Raleigh, NC 27606-3167

The following optional services were used: None

The package's Delivery Confirmation ID is 9101805213907659243694

To check the delivery status of your package at any time please visit:
https://www.endicia.com/Status/?PIC=...13907659243694
or the U.S. Postal Service's web-site:
http://www****ps.com/shipping/trackandconfirm.htm

Michael Choi

The other email was an apology about the order being lost during a move.

I want to thank GH for possibly pushing this - I basically kept on them with multiple notes and calls.

Bottom Line - I am happy my CW800 is coming! Not happy about the lack of response. I certainly hope they publicly apologize here in the site sponsored forums to all Customers who have not been able to get thru to their phone numbers/Emails so they could simply get the status of orders or just thru to Customer Support.

I had a bad experece with FTA pros several months ago, will not order from them again. We have other sponcers, to purchase from, have had no problem with them. I hope the admin will consider dropping Fta Pros as a sponcer. I know we can always depend on our mods to help with these problems. Thanks to all

Re: Having Problems with your orders from FTAPros

I am one of those who did not do enough reading of threads, before I ordered from FTPPros. I saw the banner on this site and ordered from there. Like most of the members here I did not had any luck getting any information from them. Voice mail full, no response to multiple emails from website. I contacted Supermoderator GrassHopper. He said he will try to find out information. I ordered on 04/04/2008 a Captive works unit. Today is 04/27/08. Is it too early to contact credit card to dispute the charges :-) or is there any hope ;-). Any recommendations on othe sponsors I can buy the unit from ?

Thanks to bud_alcor for pointing this thread.

Re: Having Problems with your orders from FTAPros

I have dealt with the satellite shop recently. They actually answered the phone when I called which is already a step above the FTApros. Havent looked into their prices. But they did sponsor the free Pansat 9200HD for the contest that I won.
