Does that mean that this current ecm was mainly targeted at sv and vs what is the reasoning behind that, I see that most other stb were not affected.

Apparently both providers are down and yes for the most part it's the Sonicview and Viewsat that are experiencing the mess up of freez or single # displays and no display n so forth..though you can revert that situation with little help BUT SURE it appears that only SV n VS are impacted in that fashion?????<<<<<<INTERESTING>>>>>

Regardless we all once again wait for that magic fix from the hard working coders desk>>>>

PS:::FYI::: Viewsat n Sonicview stb:::

Apparently both providers are down since noon today and like everytime we wait for the new file fix until then if your STB is still having issues to come to normal display on the reciever window display :::try this and hope will get you back to menu page and hopefully some free channels as well"""like 19031 for CNN....

Turn the Unit off from front and back-then disconnect from all power source..
Next disconnect the Sat-coaxial from the Unit - just isolate box from all connections...including TV..

Reconnect after a pause of say 2-3 minutes..power back up after reconnecting all cables..power from remote/front ...wait for new file fix and ensure clean new file fix down load n hope ur back watching ur fav show again..
