Re: do you haveto run a different switch when running a dp plus lnb
DPPLUS has a built in switch so you should not need one, What are your antenna settings, what STB do you have. 110 is Echo 8/10. 119 should be your focal point. Get 119 and 110 should automatically be there

Check the link in my post bass. He's already asked this in another named thread, and hasn't answered. FYI

Re: do you haveto run a different switch when running a dp plus lnb
If your not getting S signal then something might be wrong with the LNB, check your cable connections. S signal is the power to the LNB, if ur not getting S then the LNB is not getting power. Could be the internal switch if your getting 119 ok.

Re: do you haveto run a different switch when running a dp plus lnb
Put LNB type to ocs-dp. Second what?? LNB?? Sounds like the switch cause it should show S signal.

Re: do you haveto run a different switch when running a dp plus lnb
Be sure your cable from the back of your receiver is going to one of the 2 LNB ports that are not labeled. If you hooked the cable to the LNB IN port on the right, while looking at the 3 ports, that is the WRONG port to hook up to. That port is for using another dish LNB to hook up into your LNB system. The other 2 ports are there for hooking up 2 receivers.
Also be sure on the back of the receiver it is hooked up to a port that says 13v / 18v. The receiver actually sends voltage out to power the LNBs.
Settings
Echo 7 119W
LNB Type: OCS-DP
LNB Freq: 11250
DiSEqC: Port 1
TP: 12239 (to see quality)
Echo 8 110W
LNB Type: OCS-DP
LNB Freq: 11250
DiSEqC: Port 2
TP:12224
I believe you had it hooked up wrong, and the LNBs are fine. It is rare when an LNB is faulty, and 2 LNBs faulty, nah !!
Good Luck !!

Re: do you haveto run a different switch when running a dp plus lnb
If 119 is good, chances are your switch is ok. With 119 done you should be able to just tweek your dish to get 110

Re: do you haveto run a different switch when running a dp plus lnb
On the DP PLUS, one post will bring you 119 and 110, the 2nd post will do the same. Unless you are going to 2 receivers you only need to be hooked up to one post, one cable to catch 110 and 119
