Monday - job interview, totally freaked out
OMG I have not been to an interview in five - six years and I am totally freadked out. I really want the job, receptionist at a new pyhiso clinic in my little town, and right now if it took a buck to go around the world, I ain't got enough to get out of sight !!!! I wonder what employers are looking for now, I'm so old, and I don't want to sound desperate. Could someone please go for me and after they are hired I will just show up instead ????

I deal with Engineers, Trades people, General contractors, etc.. all the time on a daily basis in my field of work.
I have 2 words for you "Be yourself",there is nothing worse than dealing with someone who is two faced and full of sheet. Be yourself and it will all work if you give it a chance ..breath in ...breath out..
Piece of cake..

Like rixk wrote"Be yourself" and just let it fly... It seems that helps.

Be Genuine..and Yourself, A Saying That I Live By Is..."if It's Meant To Be It Will Happen" Like The Quote From A Famous Movie And If Someone Knows The Movie I Will Give Them Some Rep(not Worth Much...lol) But Anyway..."its Like A Dove If You Release It And It Returns To You It Was Yours To Begin With, And If It Doesn't Return It Wasn't Yours To Begin With"

Right on LadyV, nervous is good, channel it properly and all will go fine. I've been to many many Physiotherapy Clinics, and you're a shoe in.

Just be confident. Make eye contact. Don't answer anything too hastily. Take your time. And yes, be yourself. You'll be fine, LadyVanita

Re: Monday - job interview, totally freaked out
I don't know what else to tell you except sometimes things seem to happen for a reason. I've never really worried about the long term future, and have always just lived for today. a couple of years back I got really sick, was unable to hold down any food, diagnosis was advanced stages of cancer, removed a 6lb tumor and lost a kidneyand was told Imay not even survive surgery. I was laid up for a year without any income for a year. people i hardly knew came literally from miles around to look after my dogs and transport me to and from hospital and doctor's appts. My future is very uncertain, but I go on with my daily life and live for today. I guess what I'm saying is everything will work out and it's no use stressing yourself out about it.
