Do you watch TV ? - ABA DSS

Might be a dumb question considering the forum topic, but personally...i could careless now for any type of tv. The content (besides sports of course) sucks...I have not set down for a long time now and actually took the time to watch any type of show. Anyone else feel the same ?

Yeah Im Kinda Getting That Way With The Ppv Movies, Just Doesnt Seem To Be As Good As It Used To Be! Love The Sports Channels, Adult, And The Ppv Boxing And Ufc Stuff.

Yeah I agree with you. There's only a few shows that I like to watch + sports channels. IMO there hasn't been a good movie out in a long time and most, if not all, of the series out now just plain suck.

With the multitude of reality tv out there its getting ridiculous ---Aside too from UFC and a few PPV 's I too agree with the lack of really good quality tv out there.

I'M TOTALLY BORED WITH PPV and find myself checking out IFC channel. Good movie last night called Kontrol which takes place in subway system at Budapest, Hungary

Two of my current favorite foreign films are...French film called La Haine, three kids living in the poor ghetto's in the french slums. The other is a Brazilian film... City of God, Not sure if your fimilar with Sao Paolo where 80% or more of the population live in the city, and the favella's are one of the worst and most dangerous places to live in. Both are excellent films, no real well known actors. Oh yes...if i got the percentage wrong or i spelled Favella wrong, please don't correct me.

If you like Foreign films. You can always check the Sundance Channel.. At night they have great movies.

If you like the 80's Horror chek Italian movies the best.
If you like weirds stuff, Japanese movies and Germans.

I highly recomend it. Downfall,is a Geramn movie about thlast days of Adolf Hitler. Really good movie.

I personally love TV. Some really good shows out there if your not close minded. The reality shows are a tad overboard. Reality shows out the *** for every situation. But if people didnt watch then they would not make them for each ther own.

Close minded huh...One does not need to watch tv to be open to new ideas. A book will do that for you better then any tv show.

I've seen City of God but not La Haine, will check it out, this reminds me of a arguement I had recently. The question was ...which has more people, Sao Paolo or Mexico City?
I researched this but came up with different numbers on both cities. Can anyone tell me for sure? I say it's Sao Paolo.

NO Mexico city is the has about 15 million. That why is called the the biggest city in the world. Is crazy over there.

Way to close to call, both are pushing around 19 million. Mexico City could have an edge possibly. You would need to check the government websites for exact numbers possibly. Either way you look, Mexico City i think at the moment has the edge, but its not as bad as Sao Paolo.

edit...according to wikipedia Mexico City is pushing up to 8 million, and Sao paolo has 11 million. so who knows exactly.

Don't matter. If you have been to either, i would still choose Mexico City over Sao Paolo.
