Good evening to everyone. As you can see I am a newbie to this site and for the record I am new to the FTA community. For a while I have been hearing about FTA and finally decided to jump in and try it. After weeks of trying to decide on a receiver I finally went with the CS 7100. This weekend I put my dish up and connected my receiver and thought I was ready to go. I found this site by searching for files and after reading around in the forum I realized that there is more to it than meets the eye. I realized that I still need to tweek with the dish and my connections before I get to enjoy any tv. I also realized that I will not have any problem getting help from all the veterans in these forums. Thanks in advance for any help I may need.

Welcome to ABA, there is probably everything you need to help you with your STB in the CS7100 "help section" (drop down box in upper left hand corner) If you have a problem all you need to do is ask for help. You'll need to be specific and give all the information you can in order to receive an accurate answer. Also, you should think about upgrading your membership to "VIP" status to enable you to download files from this site.
When you think about the benefits you receive, the minimal charge is priceless!! Good luck testing!!

hello, welcome to abadss, the best fta site on the net!!
this is much more than just a place to get files. it is a community with dedicated members, forums for just about anything, social groups, your own profile page, and too much more to list.
make ABADSS your first stop for everything fta and you will be rewarded with much more.
reading is the best way to learn, use the search option to find posts related to your specific problem. if you still need help post a question in the proper forum.
helpful hints:
* read and understand the site rules to guide you through our many forums.
* hard reboot with the switch on back of your receiver solves many minor issues.
* before you unplug your receiver, or disconnect any connection including the switch or lnb ALWAYS REMEMBER to turn the receiver off using the switch on back of the receiver. you could burn up your switch or mess up your settings if you dont.
* post your type of receiver, your antenna settings, and explain your problem well to receive the best help.
* you need to upgrade your membership to access the files section on this site. this can be done by clicking upgrade membership at the top of the page.
* hijacking threads is confusing and not wanted here at abadss. see the site rules to understand better about hijacking threads. to avoid this start your own thread in the proper forum if you have any questions.
* this is an informative and friendly site devoted to the fta hobby. the members and moderators will be glad to help in any way they can.
