Another Global Wholesalers Disaster ?? - ABA DSS

I ordered a Sonicview 360 Elite on Monday and here is it Wednesday and no email or call to confirm my order has been shipped. I don't even know if they got my order! I have called twice and emailed Ryan personally, and still not a peep!! Very frustrating to say the least! Not a good way to get repeat business! Hope I haven't p***** away my money! I can't afford to lose $170.00!!!! Ryan, do you even care?

Sorry to hear that, I'm sure they will get back to you as they could be busy ,etc.. It usually takes a good couple of days to get the order through..Keep trying to contact them for now and see what happens ..what area are you from?

I'm in Tennessee. Thanks, good to be here. Heck, at my age its good to be anywhere! Just a note from them would be nice. At least put me at ease somewhat, knowing that they acknowledge my order?

ya ..this happens sometimes, we want it now and but it takes awhile to receive it ..some companies can take a week for you to receive your receiver
keep trying to contact them and a bit of patience buddy, thats all you can do for now.. I'm sure it will show up sometime soon..

hi welcome abadss its probably not a problem u will recieve what u ordered there r just some companys u order from on the internet not only fta stuff but anything that just dont respond with a comfirmation or that the order was shipped etc a real pain but usually the order shows up

There may be no problem but I got the $crew_ing from ftasat4less on a SV4000 that was never delivered. The only way to protect yourself is to use a credit card and not PayPal. PayPal will only return your payment IF they are able to collect from the seller.

Hope its really not a problem for you

OK, I got the 360 today but still mad about the way this company operates. I mean come on, how hard is to send out an email saying your order has been shipped??

Next time I order something I'll call their phone number first to see if anyone actually answers! And you can bet I will not come back to Global! Ryan may want to consider getting out of the business if it's that big of a headache for him!

well same here....... they website say feel free to contact us my foot no one picks up.... and plus y would he then promise to ship it within 24 hrs and plus 2-3 days usps shipping.... he should maybe hire some ppl while he is at it.........

their site says 2-3 days shipping you got it in 2 days
cebrate some people order from other sites and wait months to get it without hearing from them

You got it in 4 days right ? Thats pretty good. Confirmation is nice, but you can't bad mouth a reputable dealer because they didn't confirm it with you. I asked God for world peace 10 years ago and i'm still waiting...

The matter has been taken care of. 4 days is pretty good, hopefully Global did not lose any customers over this, would be regrettable.

If some of you would actually take the time to READ my first post you would "appear" to at least know what you're talking about! I never said a discouraging word about a 4 day shipping turnaround. What I WAS complaining about was the lack of any type of communication what so ever. Not even a simple email to let me know my order was received and shipped. Rmemeber what Ben Franklin used to say: "It is best to keep ones mouth shut and thought stupid than to open it and remove all doubt!"

great choice in box justfig! meanwhile your waiting if you really wanna test that reciever pick up a usb stick for loading, hard drive, dpplus lnb and dp seperator.

Thanks JayJay, I aready have all of that except the hard drive. I was using a Superdish with a LNB setup off a Dishpro 500 but can't get the singnal up enough. I've got a Dishpro 500 coming tomarrow I'll try with a seperator at the receiver with a leg going to each tuner. This is my first time into "FTA" so I probably will be fighting it all day tomarrow. But I don't mind, I like to tinker.

Funny really, but in the end try not to put a damaging thread title like that. You are buying a fta receiver which in your case could or could not be used for illegal viewing of certain satellites, confirmation is nice but not always given. So enjoy your purchase and if you need any help setting it up please do not hesitate to ask.

no problem buddy! i test a western digital 750 gig HDD on this box and it works fine. I know you probably already know this but the dpp seperator can only be used with a dpplus lnb. Good luck and keep us posted let us know how it all worked out
