Looking for some help guys....Scanning echo 7 - ABA DSS

I just gave my brother my vs platinum and got it all set up. He has a single standard lnb with i think a 30" dish.

All went well once i hit 119 S 85% Q 93% I was a little jealous because the best i could get was around 80% Q

Here is the problem. After doing a factory default and loading the latest bin when i look on tp 12224 it shows the same S/Q but when i want to scan on tp 12239 it drops to about 30% Q

I scanned on both but the best i could get was 226 channels and most channels only get about 40% Q while watching them.

Looking for some tips here guys......I`m a little baffled here.

I know dn has moved some channels around.....Is that the norm now ?

Any help would be appreciated here.

If not mistaken, you're supposed to point the dish while the STB is on TP 12239 when it comes to ES7.

Probably off by a degree or two on the eleveation or the azimuth or both.

My advice would be to leave the TP on 12239 and try repointing the dish(teaking it).

Thanks buddy..... I will give that a shot. Some times you get so focussed on 12224 with the Q We....I forget to set the Q up for 12239.

So did you get it going?

Hopefully, you did it in time to watch the fight...it was a great one.

That was a set up i was doing at my brothers place.....My set up is fine looking at 3 birds but before i left his place yesterday he was set up good enough to watch the fight but i will be heading back there later today to do a little tweaking with the dish on tp 12239.

Your right about that fight......Wow, one of the best i have seen in a long time.

I will post back later with i am sure some good results on the tweaking.

Looking fwd 2ur feedback "beef"...wish u gud n that tweaking did help me in similar situation my friend so it's safe to assume that's d issue here with ur setting..take care bud....
