A Bill of rights for future generation.
Please take the time to read this, make what you want of it.
The new bill of rights.
We the people of the future,
like the multitudes who came before us, have the right to air that smells sweet, to water that tastes pure, and to land that is fertile, unsoiled and green.
We have the right to inherit a world free of chemicals, of nuclear waste and of genetic pollution. We have the right to live alongside nature, some of which is still untamed.
We ask you, the people of the present, not to bequeath us a toxic legacy. We ask that you not gamble with technology that may backfire in the future, and request that you not burden us with the weight of ever deferred debt. We would like to claim our share of the planet's wealth. Please, do not use it all up.
In turn, we promise to grant these same rights and privileges to the generations who follow us, in the sacred hope that the human spirit will live forever.
A curse on any generation who ignores this desperate plea.
Source--- not sure, but they should be thanked.

Re: A Bill of rights for future generation.
Pretty sad when you have to have a ban on fresh vegetables (tomatoes and spinach) because they make you sick! And those are the only ones they have told us about!!
Definitely makes you think!

Global warming could be bull$hit, but either way we really need to start looking into alternative sources for energy.

Re: A Bill of rights for future generation.
I live about 40 minutes from toronto, and it takes all back roads to get to where i live. Now having said this, you can now start to see the smog over toronto getting closer and closer it seems everyday. I have to sit back and admire Obama and his shouts of change, but you really think once he gets in there, anything will change dramatically ? Obama or Mccain will be fixing the damage that the Cheney and his ***** Bush have done. Cheneny is the man behind that administration not the boy from Texas. Wow i can go off on this for days if i have the time.

Re: A Bill of rights for future generation.
You know something, and when i say this...please its the truth, and i'm not wrong...but just read and think. In the year 1000, Asians were at the top of the food chain will say, europeans were slowly coming out of the middle ages, and north america was non existent. Now 1000 years later, It has totally reversed. But what i'm trying to get at is...United States and its allies spend countless amounts of money on its military, its enemies do not need to match it, they just need to spend money on allied weaknesses, namely there dependency on satellites. As i said before, i have been called many things, but what i say is just the truth backed up by evidence and facts. I do not support any violence that anarchism might produce, because its not the answer.

Surely you do not think of me as a stupid person to suggest that.
