hello
Hi. Bad Brad here. Just wanted to say hi. I am new to here and fta. I have been snooping around for recomendations on what system to buy. I live in western Canada and subscribe to Bell Express vu. I was curious if there is a system available that I could use for hi def with a pvr and possibly two tuners. Also, people I know around here keep having there recievers go down and are not able to update them anymore and are having to replace their recievers. If someone could point me in the right direction I would appreciate it!
Thanks,
Bad Brad

Re: hello
Welcome to ABA!
Read through the forums about HD receivers and those that are pvr's with dual tuners, then make your best decision! Many post that you read are from people getting frustrated and giving up as opposed to receivers not able to be brought back on line. There is a specific receiver which is no longer being supported by the manufacturer, and during this last ecm many of them came back on line with older files!

Re: hello
Take a look at Sonicview 8000 HD, it only has single tuner though. It is one of the best on the market. Glad you joined us...

Re: hello
welcome aboard!
I'd recommend the SV8000 as your best bet as I've been testing it for awhile and have had no problems with it. if your already viewing Nimq 2 it will be easy to hook up as you don't need the board for viewing HD as its only used to view dn HD.
