Re: Sonicview 360 Elite
this is what i heard
c/p
The latest release of Channel Master is a confirmed box-killer.
Sonicview 360 Elite support has been added, but the most significant
bug in the program will cause your receiver to display a "1" that does
not resolve itself. The box will be otherwise dead and you will need to
flash it using the serial port and loader program.
It is highly recommended that you skip this version.
Wait until the next version is released.

Re: Sonicview 360 Elite
I am not. I try to steer clear of the channelmaster files. Seems they cause more problems than they are good...

Re: Sonicview 360 Elite
The best thing for you to do toe is arrange the channels how you want, del, move ect....
Then save it to a thumb drive for future use. Channel master gives the same results with some added abilities but you can do almost the same thing with your box and save it.

Re: Sonicview 360 Elite
Im not that familiar with chan master, but in the case of the sv360 as fordman asked. Dont use it at all. The same results can be achieved like this.
Menu: USB: when your looking @ the files stored on the USB stick hit the red button and it will save a chan file for you.
Then you can upload the file to your box if you need to with your channels in the order you want.
With the channel master program you upload the data from the stb, you select the type of stb your using, change the data you want and save and re upload to the stb. Very easy and good control over sats,Tp's and channels with the chan master prog.

Re: Sonicview 360 Elite
i will explain i am the one who nixed ch 20 here and on other sites and as i did confirm it will screw up your box..
now to explain channel master actucally a great program but it has alot of bugs for cnx as it fails all the time 360 elite and the prem .. i have been testing all and fails ..
anyways on what you can do is sat files if you want a custom sat file it is by far faster then anything out there you can make up your own files adust setting vertical and hor in no time and convert it to almost any format for any reciever they have listed but the 3 up above .. i use it for redoing and adding the new sats for people here to use ..
i have a new one for the sv 8000 has all the new sats and tp are adjusted and up dated by me i scanned tons of channels for the new sats
but be warned it is a good program but you need to have a good basic knowledge of sats before you start changing things and flashing back onto you reciever .. or you could have a serious problem

Re: Sonicview 360 Elite
I bet no one really answered you because you somewhat hijacked the thread. Channel master is a program you use on your computer to organize and sort your channel list. If you need more info please start your own thread.
