can you help me?
I have a 2800A receiver. Is there a working BIN for this? If I use seriol port com 4 my laptop says it is downloading, using any bin,but it doesn' download to my box. It just sits there on download. Any thoughts on this?

make sure you are using only the cable that was supplied with the receiver, not just any cable. are you using usb to serial conversion? i would try it starting with com 1, if that fails, try com 2, etc.

I am using the cable supplied with the receiver. Have tried com 1,2,3, and 4 is the one that goes to download, but doesn't go to box.

go into ur devise manager once u plug ur cable into ur computer,,it will tell u which port number it got assigned,,if u got alot of usb stuff plugged into ur puter,,it may be a high number,,u can change the port number,,by right clicking on it in the devise manager,,new box will come up,,look for the drop down,,and set it to an open port,,,everytime u need to upgrade,,use the same usb port,,and ur com number will stay the same

also check the baud rate ,,i believe it needs to be set to 112500,,but im just guessing,,im sure someone will know the right baud rate to set it too
