need help getting started.
whats up everyone, I got my receiver today (cw800s), I tried to get it going but didn't happen. I couldn't find sat (110), I though I was on 110 on the installation menu when I was looking for the signal. I got up to 80 on the strengh and 75 for the quality but it was for ehcostar 1,2. Im in the states (westcoast). when I turn to a channel it says "scramble program" what does that mean? do I need to download anything to even just watch true sat channel? can I view channel on (110) without downloading anything? What do I need to do once I find the signal that Im looking for?
Thank You

Re: need help getting started.
you need to get a copy of bin 1.93 and load to your box and put in the correct serial number from warranty card or off bottom of the box and then get a coppy of bin 1.99 and load it
put in antenna settings
once you find 110w it will show above the signal meter then autoscan the sats then exit out to the channels and hit f1 000 on remote and on tv screen it will say patch enabled

Re: need help getting started.
Hi and welcome to ABA! As already mentioned, it would really benefit you to upgrade your membership with ABA to make sure you are getting safe files when you download. Have you read all the information about the CW800 on the "help page"? You have the best ((Mighty Thor, BigE and CG) helping you right now, so hope you get it resolved!
