Roll Call Wednesday, 2/11/09
Good morning ABA Family!
Did everyone notice the new ABA posting contest??? It's called the "Grand Prix". This time it goes to 5000 posts. There are some nice
prizes listed and some surprise prizes...lol This one looks like it's going to be more fun than the last, if that's possible! Hope to see
everyone posting there....especially all our new members. It's a nice way to get to know each other.
Happy 4 year ABA Anniversary to Fishmacker! Thank you for being dedicated to ABA for so long, hope to see you here for many more
years to come!! Best wishes to those celebrating their special day today! My thoughts and prayers go out to our members that are ill and
all of you that need some extra support, plus our Troops, home and abroad....we can never forget what they have done and are doing for us!
Another storm is coming in with lots of rain. I hope the members in Texas are safe (Jell & Cisco). They were under a Tornado alert last night. Let us know
how you are!
Who has plans for this long holiday weekend coming up??? Remember Sat. the 14th is Valentine's Day and Monday the 16th is President's day to observe
the birthdays of President Lincoln (actual birthday is Feb 12) and President Washington (actual birthday Feb 22). We use to get both days off for
holidays....but "Uncle Sam" made it into one day off.

Good morning Peggy and all Aba members. We should have a warmer day today but there calling for freezing rain tonight, not good. Fishing yesterday did not go well, it was so windy when we got there and sooooooooo cold that we had to re-load the equipment and come back home, what a drag. Hopefully we will be able to go back soon.
I hope everyone is doing good, happy anniversary to Fishmaker.

good morning peggy and all. Humpday!! i know pretty early for me. lol its 46 now and gonna blow(25-35)on up to 63 today. big tornado came through about 40 miles from the house,last i heard there were 3 dead, find out more after suns up. everything here is still nailed down so no worries here.
congrats to all those celebrating a special day today( fishmacker 4 yrs. wow!!)many happy returns.

valentines day is just around the corner, if you didnt go out and get that significant-other something special, in these hard economic times, dont worry. a day of pampering, and grovelling should get you back in the house.lol a genuine show of affection, is the best gift. do something you know they enjoy.(breakfast in bed, foot massage)
gotta hit the work thing today, so at lunch i'll be out there looking for a door that needs to be held, or someone who needs a kind word or 2. will you? before you get out there stop in at the grand prix and have a laugh or 2, then be safe when you get out there and have yourself a good un!! |

Rainy and windy here today. It's nice to get rid of all that snow finally! The Grand Prix is churning lots of hilarious posts.... Gibson and Eclipse seem to keep those jokes rollin' and Creative has great one-liners! Lol
And big cheers to Eclipse celebrating his 14th wedding anniversary coming up...WOW! I wonder if Peggy ever got her Bailey's in her coffee this morning
