1. At Wal-Mart, Americans spend $36,000,000 every hour of every day.

2 . This works out to $20,928 profit every minute!

3. Wal-Mart will sell more from January 1 to St. Patrick's Day (March 17th) than Target sells all year.

4. Wal-Mart is bigger than Home Depot + Kroger + Target + Sears + Costco + K-Mart combined.

5. Wal-Mart employs 1.6 million people and is the largest private employer. And most can't speak English.

12. 90% of all Americans live within 15 miles of a Wal-Mart.

The truth about Wal-mart...If you make profits of 29k plus a minute while paying your
employees about .25 cents more than the federal minimum wage, then you have found the key to run a very susessfull bussiness. Wal-mart overwork its people, not to mention they buy full industries in order to keep prices below competition. I worked for seven years at W/M and I was making $8.75 an hour. Now I work for Kroger and under five years I'm making $19.00 an hour. Wal-mart doesn't share their
profits with the employee, that's the key for their accomplishments.
