Hope this is the right place to chit-chat about this.Wondering what will happen to this site when we go black.I know iks is suppose to keep things going but will that be enough to keep things going here.Only a few receivers handle iks now.Iam all set with a back-up,I hope.Still cant help but wonder..

We plan on being here as long as our members continue to pay there memberships. If we loose Charlie for a while, we will help all our members to get setup to receive true FTA satellite signals....

ABA isn't going away and as long as ABA is here I'll be here whether we are blacked out or not. Because I know somehow someway something will be worked out. And like JC said, people who are interested in setting up true FTA will need help.

ABA is a great FTA community and we have to stick together. I hope you will all be here with me!

true fta sounds like the way to go for me ,i have recievers that i refuse to get rid of and the challenge of true fta sounds like another challenge and something else to do while waiting for the break in n3.the idea of being able to watch tv with out down time .i look at it as another way of gaining more knowledge of a hobby that i enjoy every day.i will be hear learning and posting my own questions and hopefully helping others.

You all need to realize that this is just a hump to overcome as it was for Nag1 and 2, the sky is not falling and this hobby will go on and on and on as it has for me since 1984. FTA is just the same now as it was 20 some years ago and just because we used larger dishes back then it's still the same. As long as there are satellites up there folks will be able to receive their signals and that is what it's all about.

This is my buddy & he has been doing this longer than anybody I know.
