i have a bit of a problem. i just bought windows vista,brand new, never opened.......as soon as i got it, i installed it on the computer. installation went fine and nothing happened that wasn't supposed to happen. as soon as every thing finished, a pop up on the bottom right corner popped up saying that i have 30 days to activate. so i clicked it. when every thing did what it did, it said that i needed to either type a different code or buy a new code........i payed $240 for vista....I'm obviously not gunna pay for it again. what can i do....im about to throw my computer out the window.

I'm curious whether this is a glitch or there's really a requirement to pay for file access? If not a glitch, this would seem to be in direct conflict with the main banner which indicates that access to files is free with membership:

"To participate, ask questions, or download files, you'll have to Register- it's free and easy!"

Well I happened to click on this link: http://www.abadss.com/forum/971-intr...tml#post786787 I get a trojan hit from one of the smilies on that page. I'll post a pic of the alert I got and I'll c/p the url that it originated from.

Someone might wanna look into this....luckily I'm running Kaspersky and it caught it....twice....as I clicked on the link again and it pulled up again but someone else might not be so fortunate.
