I am currently running some NFusions with no problems and just wondering if it worth dusting off one of my SV8000 with an IHUB and hooking up to one of my TV's that currently has nothing on it.

This is a machine I used a great deal before the IKS solution and used breifly with it working with an Ihub but it was freezing too much for my liking and I went out and bought some HD Nfusions.

Anyway I see some new releases this week and was wondering how they are working.

I load everything via USB and prefer not to use any web based loaders if I can help it.

Can someone enlighten me on what current file names I should load to get this unit working again.

I know I was only skimming and it may be there so sorry.

Is it just a bin I load or do I have to do something to the IHUB? I see 1.9 and 470 out there. I do not really understand what 1.9 is but I think that 470 is the number of the current working bin.

How do I load 1.9 and onto what?

Thanks Guys.

I ran into the 82 error again, right wrong this is what I did and it works for me.

1. load file HD8000 factory Ver 101 rom to receiver hard boot.
2. load file Hd8000_SysCleanFile to receiver hard boot.
load file Hd8000_p_30june2009_v477_b207 hard boot
3. load file HD8000_P_18NOV2009 to receiver hard boot.
4. Install Wiznet software on your pc that is connected (hard wired) to your network that the iHub is also connected to, or the pc will not see the ihub when you search for it.
5. plug Ihub into router farthest port from modem and write down all your settings from receiver to have in case you need to enter any manually. (works with linksys router I have wrt54GS)
6. click DHCP and also check the Use DNS box then hit search. You will see the 82 version in the upper left hand corner.
7. Now go to the third tab on top that says Option. fill in so it looks like this,
Inactivity time- 14
Time- 0
Size – 0
Char – 00
Password leave blank and make sure the box is not checked
Serial Configuration should be all zero’s, each box should have one 0 in it. Then hit setting to save the page.
8. Now, hit the network tab. Type in the ip you wrote down from the ipconfig menu on your receiver in the local ip box
9. Subnet is -255.255.255.0
10. Gateway and DNS Server ip will be your router’s ip or modem’s ip.
11. PPPoE ID should be blank, if there is a character in it, hit the PPPoE tab on top, to open it and erase anything in it and also in the password field. Both should be blank.
12. Now, click the DHCP tab on top. Uncheck the Use DNS box and it will allow you to type in the Server IP 77.93.75.89, Remember, ports should be 1920 both. Now recheck the Use DNS box and hit setting to save the page.
13. Now, hit upload and load v1.9 , it should upload. Hit the red X and exit the screen. Now, reload the Wiznet program , hit the DHCP tab and Check the Use DNS box and hit the search button, you will have v1.9 in the corner.
14. hard boot the receiver, reload the sats info and your done.
any problem try resetting your router. This worked for me maybe it will help someone else

Ok so after I uploaded the latest files and they killed my STB I changed the capacitors (C10,C11,C14 &C24)to try and get the front panel to work again. The C10 & C24 are the recommended ones to change but the C11 & C14 showed signs of leaking so I did them also.

Well to no avail, nothing has worked yet, I mean, I have tried every single troubleshooting suggestion, read a ton of posts and so on..... The only other thing I can do now is buy a new power supply...

So again, I need to thank SV for another fine release. Now I need to buy another receiver again, the second one in a month, exclusively due to SV coding and/or lack there of.
