News Release: Captain and Coolsat Users:<br />
A new IKS system is in place to service All Captain Model receivers and Coolsat 5000 and 6000 users.<br />
Testers have been using this system for past couple months with success <br />
Use of this new IKS system will require the purchase of a new type ”Dongle/hub” device that connects at the db9 port of the receiver. It does ship with a 5volt power supply that is required. It will also require the update of the receiver with new file (same procedure as in past).<br />
This newly formed support team consists of several people with great experience in Free to air receivers, networking and card coding. <br />
This is not a Norw_Group supported project. These IKS dongle/hubs are not the same as the Norw supported dongle and will not work on this new system<br />
