I got an old 18x32" *choice, fiberglass but lnbs are missing.
Thinking to use it for 101w or 83w.
What lnbs should I use for it?
The label on the casing of missing (oval shape) lnbs says:
"dual sat quad output switchable Ku lnbf
model name LM-2738-SC
input freq 11.712.2 ghz
output freq 950-1450 mhz(non-stacked)
linear polarization vertical 10-15v, horizontal 16-20
for use with 60E dish only"

I read about this item & seems to me that I can get any 3(4) sat in a row & supply the signat to 3(4) stbs.
Any opinion or exposure to this product?

it is locked on 97 with twin lnb.
planning to add another lnb for 83w or 101w without moving the dish. witch one has a strong signal for my setup? i'm using a captain7100 & cw700s.:bad:

I have mounted the dish but I can't find any one source of info on what I should be doing next. I tried to read the threads but it gets too complicated to go back and forth for what I need. Here is the equipment that I have and what I think I should be doing:

Equipment:
30" dish, Invacom quad LNB, CW-800S Receiver, DiSEqC 2100 motor and CW DiSEqC switch. I have not grounded the satellite yet. I am going to just keep it unhooked from any power source until I actually finish the pointing.

Alignment:
My true south satellite located at 87.0W or 89.0W. Do I use my motor to turn the satellite to one of these and then fine tune to get a signal or do I loosen the motor mount bolts and turn the whole motor bracket and dish around the pole allowing the rotation arm on the motor to be at 0 degrees in this position. Also, I tried to turn the motor manually but it wouldn't move. The orange lignt just came on. Sometimes it blinks and sometimes it just remains completely orange.

Also, I am confused about the receiver. For TFTA do I need to do anything other than take it out of the box, plug into power source, connect the sat cables and turn it on? I have done this and moved the dish around but nothing has really changed but the signal strength. What settings do I need to enter into the receiver to make this thing operable? Sat Frequency, V,H or C polarity, Transponder, L.O. Frequency? I don't know?

are any of you having trouble getting rtn on 82w i have been watching it for several weeks i go back and forth with 101w this am i went to rtn and couldnt get a signal just wondering if anyone else was having trouble

Hi, I am located in Missouri and the elevation on dish pointer is 44.9, the skew is 86.6. I have heard dish-pointer has outdated info on this sat. What size dish and such do I need for 82 and 91 in St. Louis MO?

GEOSATpro DSR100C Free To Air Digital Satellite Receiver

Are these systems worth the money for the channels you get?


What kind of channels do you get? (movies, news, sports, weather, etc.)


Do I need a motorized dish if all I'm going to pickup are ku band?


Which system is best to buy at the lowest price?


Where can I get a complete satellite system kit that supplies everything needed to install the system?


I understand that C band requires an 8 ft. dish - Which I don't want.

It's hard to find info about the actual channels you get with ku band.

I would like free tv but I want channels that I will actually watch.

With all the talk of the internet hooked up to some recievers and your I.P address connected to the reciever, my thoughts go to getting being caught red handed, or am I just being to cautious???

hi can i just split the feed before it reaches the receiver so i can have one in my bedroom or do i have to buy one of these multiple lnb thingies ,
also i was gonna just buy a reciever cheap of ebay but will i get any fta channels at all ....this sound well more cofusing than cable.

does this file need an upgrade file to go with it?

ok iv'e been into fta for a long time now and have never went true free air to air so i need some advice. what is the best dish and lnb setup to go with. not really interested in internationals,just some good usa channels. and also a good how to tip on motor setup and dish align.:yo:

I have a nfusion solaris.after the system was scrambled i down loaded the new files for it.i do not get all my channels and i was wondering why i dont get any local channels and what about pay for view channels?
Is there any thing i need to down load or reset on my system?
