not being an FTA user in the past, I am having trouble with my SV HD 8000/iHub dongle.
I was getting all the channels as noted in many blogs/forums, etc. but now I am merely getting the no service/scrambled message.
I have tried a lot of different fixes for this but nothing seems to work. Is there a work around for this problem? Do I need a new BIN file, a different IP, etc, etc.?

hi there i am new to this whole thing. heres the story my stepdad paid $400 (can) on a coolsat 5000 plat. the guy said that $50 to set it up and then he could just load it off the internet. heres the problem. it lasted for 3 months and was then zapped. the guy who sold it to us has moved away & left us watchin a blank screen. i dont know what i need to do to fix the problem. what kind of cable to attach to the computer (the only cable that came with the cs 5000 was female on both ends). i hope i havnt offended anyone with my stupidity and lack of knowledge. thank you very much.

Hi all - We have the Viewsat Ultra (which is not working - we have great S and Q just no audio or video). I am being told to buy the nfusion or the nano 2 (another $200+ investment). I have read that I can get the fixes from a couple sites for a price. What is the best option in all of this??? And is this legal in Canada?? Can someone offer advice on this?
