hey guys, i was just tv, then the box just turned off, tried switching channels, now i get an error message saying "Khub is not connected" any ideas?

On the kbox I think I have to add 214 because I am having problems or maybe its where I hooked it up at my son-in-laws and I must say it did work but when there were not that many bev channels I was told that if I took my nf over it would come in but it didn't so hooked the kbox back up and the red light stayed on. So got nothing there either.

(1) Are the same amount of channels up on the Kbox as there were or did they add more bev channels. Son-in-law only runs bev.

(2) If he has a different internet provider will that make a difference, I can't see it because the kbox worked there for over 12 hours.

(3) Should I add 2.14 to the K Box 1

(4) The cnx , what file do I need to get that working, nano 2 I have, as well does bev come in on that one. I haven't hooked that up for a little while, I bought that one because I thought bev was working on it but thats my fault for not reading. Thanks to Buddyh who informed me about the cnx and all the info received and from everyone else who helped me. All I want is to get something working for them, I guess I promised them and really don't want to break that promise. So anyway could some kind soul tell me what I need to do to get the kbox and cnx working, thank you all, god bless.

Was wondering why as well the Kbox won't come in, have 2.12 in it and it was working, the red light stays on ,,,,on the hub and rebooted and still nothing, say's hub not connected but it is, anyway they were watching when I got there but they wanted the nf hooked up so I did and it wouldn't work either so went back to k box and nothing on that either. Any help would be appreciated.

Hey everyone, good morning, pulpworker here with a question, would one of you good souls give me a link to where I may find an updated working channel list for K Box, now I lent it to my son-in-law and he is only running bev 91 so are there many open on that bird , also when I hooked it up and loaded the file I didn't rescan or nothing just left his home last evening, so could that be the reason he is not getting many channels or aren't there many available, thanks in advance.

213 has been posted apparently with no success. I have not read one post in numerous threads and at various sites where someone was down and 2.13 brought them back up.** Looks like charlie might be pressuring certain ISP's to block access to either certain IP's or DNS or Ports? Ports can be changed but if it's IP's that's not quite so easy. We need to help the coders with our feedback

It might be especially useful if you are UP on any of the ISP's listed above as down and if you are down on any of the ISP's listed as UP - in this case location could be helpful.

If charlie has managed to pressure ISP's into blocking traffic one answer might be for the coders to install a proxy server option into the bin files.

I think that what is needed is for all testers to provide accurate info so that the coders can find workarounds to whatever the problem's are. BIT**ING about being down is not helpful INFORMATION.

I noticed while getting the above info that some people would just say Verison or 2.13 and neglected to bother saying if they were up or down. It's simple people if you are going to bother posting to provide information then do it right. Just posting the fact that you have Verizon or 2.13 is just wasting space in the forum. Please take an extra minute and do it right

Any unusual information such as owners of 2 kbox's with one up and one down - things like that also if anyone has found any work around solutions to this please let us know.

4. 2.12 installed
5. I'm UP continuously since 2.12 released

**I have now read 1 only 1 posting where someone reported loading 2.13 brought them back up - however it was not stated if they were updating from 2.12 a mandatory load or if they had an earlier version installed which would have been the reason for them being down.

Well I loaded the latest file a few minutes ago and everything went well, now it says Khub is not connected, can anyone tell me how to fix this problem please and thank you in advance

I'm new to the Kbox Plus since I came from the Captive Works 600's. Anyways, Ive read and read but didn't get anything and I need help. I downloaded the 2.13 file extracted the file and moved it to a flash drive. I try loading it to the box via USB but I get an Invalid Software message and cant load any file with the USB. I can't load the program via the null cable since my laptop doesn't have it so that's out of the question. Please help I don't know what I'm doing wrong.

I have a couple of questions if you don't mine, I also have just the regular K Box, I took it over to my daughters bf's and set it up, he didn't have a router just the modem, now I find out it needs a file, first can I use just the modem without the router and second are these hard to load, do I load it or can I load it by usb, thanks in advance, never did this before.

Hey guys, I recently had someone come in and setup a Kbox Heros Fta into my house, I'm totally new to this so please bear with me. But from what i understand The receiver is hooked up to the tv, and there is a wireless piece that is in the outlet and also plugged into the reciever. There is a second piece that is also plugged into the power outlet in another room that connects to my Router.

I think the dish picks up 2 different satellite, the foreign station, which still works, but all the regular stations don't. The guide still shows the menu and the listing, but it wont connect. Ive had it running for over a month and it recently went down. Can someone explain to me what i have to do to get it up and running.

Thanks to buddyj for posting the new 2.12 file after loading it and bam i got t.v. again. no need to reboot reciever it will auto boot after loading the newest file and u are back to normal. thanks buddy
