Hey, have you heard from Gooly lately? He is such a kick, I love his sense of humor and overall attitude. I could go on but I don't want any rumors getting started -Ha! I have a few things that I have been wanting to talk w/ you about, you have been so honest and open and kind. It's not too often that I am this trusting, particularly of a female. Anyhow, tell me what's up and I'm here for you also. (God, i have got to work on being less wordy...lol)

Hi, Peggy, how goes it? Yes, i'm in Wilmington-"the Heart of the Harbor", also, "where the debris meets the sea" (chuckle). It's on the north side of the Harbor, it has its own name, but is considered also Los Angeles, it's not incorporated. Guess why? Yep, money. A long time ago, when the port was getting started and the city of los angeles didn't want to lose out on all the revenue, it drew boundaries-as it left l.a. proper, it narrowed down to a strip of land about a mile in width, all the way out to include the Catalina Island, 26 miles SW of the Port. About 2-3 miles from the Pacific Ocean, it widened again to encompass the little communities of Wilmington and San Pedro (west portion of Harbor). So there! Hey, great day out, huh, you are in S. F., I'm guessing?
